This project will go until Christmas, and it is to help out another shelter that is very deserving of some good spirit. It is called Fuzzy Friends Rescue and Shelter, and a very kind person named Nancy runs it.
Here is some of Nancy’s story:
She was a vet tech when Hurricane Katrina hit. A ferret was found lost in a flooded home, and she accepted it. Word got out and now she has many ferrets, and she is running a good shelter born of this tragedy. She has taken care of many fuzzies, and has accepted ferrets such as Toast, who was set on fire. Toast was a great ferret and was rehabilitated with her love and care. She takes care of a lot of ferrets like that.
We are accepting donations at every meetup. These donations will go into a box, and at the end of the year the donations accumulated will be shipped to Nancy and her shelter. If you would like to help a good cause, this project will help a special person have a great Christmas for her ferrets.
