- American Ferret Association (AFA) – A group that grew out of Maryland, and is now one of the largest ferret-centric sites on the Web.
- Deaf Ferrets Email Group – An email list that discusses primarily deaf ferrets, their training, enrichment, and sheer enjoyment of having these little buggers. In short – deaf ferrets are usually just as fun and just as trainable as ferrets with little to no hearing loss.
