2011 MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
The Mile High Ferret Club is dedicated to education of ferret owners and the general public, promoting the welfare of ferrets and providing ferret owners with a social and support network. Membership is open to ferret owners, prospective ferret owners and people who love animals, especially ferrets. All memberships are subject to approval by the board of directors.
The club meets monthly, except in December. Meetups include ferret and human socializing, food and drink, and in most months, some sort of activity, game or contest. Every other month, the activity is a raffle benefiting Ferret Dreams Rescue and Adoption, Colorado’s nonprofit no-kill ferret rescue.
The membership year runs from April 1 through March 31. Membership for the first person in your household is $25, with $10 for each additional household member over the age of 6. Membership fees pay for food and beverages, activities and prizes. Membership benefits include:
- Free admission to monthly events for all members [$5 per person for nonmembers]
- Free food, drinks and activities, including ferret nail trimming and ear cleaning at select meetings
- Discounts on contest entry fees
- Discounts on Totally Ferret food and other products
- Annual membership renewal gift
All members agree to the following code of conduct: To leave sick or aggressive ferrets at home. To handle others’ ferrets with care and respect. To treat other members with care and respect.
